Well, after reading a good comment in a previous post, I realized that New PC User’s wasn’t really covering the whole playing field on computers. Unfortunately for me, I am not MAC literate. However, I did find a very good site that beginners can refer to. The website

I checked it out, and it appears to be a good source for beginners learning how to use their MAC. I am not qualified to comment or give any useful information on the Subject of MAC systems, since my experience with these systems is close to nonexistent. I only had a brief encounter with a MAC years ago on a local college campus. I have always heard good comments about MACs, but, never had a real opportunity to dive into one and see what they are really all about.
Question: How widely used are MAC’s today? Can anyone offer any insights and limitations on MAC’s?

Your site kept telling me “there is a problem” I was unable to get into it. I re entered about ten times but still couldn’t register.
I’m trying to write a book using microsoft word for mac.
Its going slowlly; mainly because people who wrote that program assume everybody understands their vocabulary. I don’t have
“control” over it. I want advice.
But I can’t get help from you because your website won’t “register” me as a member. This is another in a long line of time consuming blockages. I’m about ready to sell the damn computer and go back to a manual typewriter!
