If you are a new PC user and you are about to get a new PC, based upon what I am reading and hearing about, for the time being, I recommend not getting a PC with Windows Vista on it. I see that there are a lot of neat things with Vista, but, there is also a lot of issues with the new operating system. Currently, you’d be better off finding a PC with an earlier version of Windows such as Windows XP or XP Pro or even 2000. You may even want to consider purchasing a used PC that is in really good condition. As a new PC user, you have a lot to learn with your PC and you don’t need to go through any challenges that Windows Vista could give you at this time. It’s best to wait until Windows Vista’s issues are addressed and taken care of first before getting it.
Check out a post in Internet Help for PC Users blog for more information on Windows Vista.
